2010 was a big year for me.
I...
moved out on my own for the first time.
finished my first 2 semesters of college.
openly spoke persuasively of Jesus in public.
felt the Father's love for the first time.
gained a new perspective on suffering.
fell in love with Jesus.
received deep deliverance from childhood hurts.
gained a lot of freedom from legalism.
visited IHOP for the first time.
gained the ability to see the Lord's favor on my life.
became a spiritual daughter.
learned to forgive.
learned to recognize God's voice and yield to it.
began to trust the God in me.
changed my school and major.
learned to let God speak to me through His Word.
made a lot of new friends.
learned that God is the only safe place.
began respecting myself more.
ate pad thai for the first time.
learned to be vulnerable.
learned to fast as a disciplin (and love it!).
realized that God is my strength.
realized the power of the Blood.
2011 will be an even bigger year.
I'm hoping to...
experience more of the Father heart of God.
make Jesus Lord of my life.
lead someone to Christ.
reconcile with my father.
gain more boldness.
grow in character.
get life direction.
meet my future husband.
improve musically.
grow in the knowledge of God.
get freedom from fear.
learn what love is.
receive freedom from illness.
become a little girl and a young woman.
build covenant relationships.
become a laid-down lover.
be a disciple-maker.
be a missionary to my family first and foremost.
grow in my prayer life (and all spiritual disciplines, for that matter).
become a master of running a home.
improve with time management.
grow in compassion.
learn to be washed by the Word.
become classier.
honor my temple.
grow in freedom.
There's so much more to add to both lists, but I don't want this post to be forever long! I might add on if super important things pop up :)
