Today marks one year since I rededicated my life to Jesus AND got baptized in the Holy Spirit (by accident, I might add.. the best accident I've ever experienced hahaha). Actually, I think tomorrow marks one year, but it was kind of a whole weekend thing, so yeah :) I was looking back through my journals from the past year (which I highly recommend to anyone reading this.. and if you don't journal consistently about what God does in your life, now is the time to start), and I was so amazed. God is SO good. If I was able to somehow show how far I've come, I'm pretty sure no one would believe it.
This past year has probably had some of the most intense 'downs' out of all of the years I've lived through; yet it has been the most enjoyable and fulfilling year of my life. I should be a crushed mess from the things I've walked through, but God has given me oceans and oceans of grace, and therefore, I've emerged stronger than ever. It has been the best year ever! I've messed up SO much, but God has been faithful to chase after me and bring me back and clean me up each time, and this has allowed me to gain so much intimacy and insight into Who He is.
I am excited to see what the next year holds :)
