I had to make a rhetorically-sound persuasive/argumentive video for my english class. I chose to share a portion of my testimony, arguing that life with Jesus is better than living without Him. God actually told me to do this topic, and He told me to use "Meant to Live" by Switchfoot. My professor is an extreme athiest/liberal who openly opposes Christian viewpoints in class, so I'm assuming that God is going to use this video to plant a seed in his heart. Just getting the idea okayed was a miracle in itself. God moved my prof's heart in a big way in order for me to get permission, but that's another story in itself.
I wish parts of it weren't so cheesy, but I had to apply transitions and effects and such with certain rhetorical reasons in mind and then write a paper explaining why I created the video as I did.. unfortunately, I feel as if the rhetorical aspect hurt more than it helped. When God gave me the idea, it looked far cooler in my head.
I wish the project was better overall, but I didn't have enough time available to pour more into it.. and I also think that uploading it to youtube has caused the transitions to lag, so it doesn't really line up with the music anymore.. It is what it is. Either way, all glory goes to God.
